Conversation With Indian Filmmaker Shruti Ganguly: What Do You Bring To The Table Full Episode #standupcomedy #comedy #indian --- About Rajiv Satyal: Rajiv Satyal is a well-established comedian and host based in Los Angeles, recognized for his clean, family-friendly comedy that resonates with a wide-ranging audience. He launched his stand-up career in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he grew up. His foray into comedy was far from typical—his first performance took place in a locker room for tennis legend Pete Sampras, who was the world’s number one player at the time. Since that unusual beginning, Rajiv has achieved numerous milestones, including opening for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in front of a 17,000-strong audience. He also created the viral video *I AM INDIAN*, which garnered over 100 million views, gained attention from Bollywood stars, and was showcased at Modi’s events in Shanghai and Dubai. Notably, Rajiv became the first comedian to perform a full one-hour stand-up show in India. He has opened for Russell Peters more times than any other Indian comic and has shared the stage with comedy greats like Tim Allen, Sebastian Maniscalco, Jo Koy, Kevin Nealon, and Dave Chappelle—most memorably opening for Chappelle’s first show after his return from Africa. A highlight of Rajiv’s career was closing a show at New York’s Gotham Comedy Club right after performing alongside his comedic idol, Jerry Seinfeld. --- About Shruti Ganguly: Shruti Ganguly is a writer and filmmaker who divides her time between New York City and Oslo.
