One of my most quoted lines, I keep seeing it in comments and hear it from people who come to live shows and meet me. This had happened almost a decade before this video (The Great Indian Middle Class: https://youtu.be/j65eZdN5ypU) released. It hit me so hard when I heard it that I knew I had to do something about it. But it often takes that long for a thought or emotion to make it to the stand-up stage. But if you are patient, every emotion eventually finds it rightful place in art. The same person still works for us and we have helped in whatever way we can but to lift an entire generation out of poverty takes education and beyond that the pitfalls are many from social to communal. Be grateful for every last thing you have and stop hating people you have never met. #standup #comedy #standupreels #middleclass
