She later made a successful transition to American cinema, landing her first lead role in the Disney Channel original movie *Spin* (2021), followed by a role in Netflix’s *Senior Year* (2022). In 2024, Avantika gained further recognition with supporting roles in the musical comedy *Mean Girls* and the horror film *Tarot*. In 2014, she earned second place in the North America edition of Zee TV’s dance reality show *Dance India Dance L’il Masters*. Avantika entered Telugu cinema in 2015 with two signed projects.
