In this new comedy show, Danish Sait stars as NRI Bob—an Indian-origin, Silicon Valley entrepreneur who returns to India on a mission to help local businesses using his years of experience… and a very fake accent. In Episode 1, Bob walks into Kwality Shade, a local sticker shop that does more than just print labels. The store has a massive library of stickers that Bob simply cannot get over. The conversation moves from famous stickers, to highly illegal ways to dodge parking, to the unexpected ways climate change is affecting the sticker business. Through unfiltered, unscripted interactions with a real shopkeeper, the episode reveals the humour, logic, and lived experience behind a business we all know about; but rarely walk into. At the heart of the show is Bob, a software engineer turned entrepreneur… turned self-proclaimed business guru. He’s back in India with a mission to “empower” small businesses using his questionable marketing expertise and to overwhelm them with his obnoxious curiosity. Shot with real store owners, Bob’s humour comes from his complete misunderstanding of how their businesses actually work. This leaves the shopkeepers confused and the audience in splits.
