He hosted the White House Correspondents Dinner to rave reviews, won a Peabody Award for his comedy special, Homecoming King, and just left his role as Daily Show correspondent to host his own weekly show on Netflix entitled Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj. I met Hasan at the NBC Diversity Showcase in Baltimore, Maryland, in 2010. A few months later, he called me up and asked if I wanted a roommate.
