He is a world-renowned speaker and author who gained fame in the United States as a frequent guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show. I met Deepak, as he humbly allows people to address him, at an Akshaya Patra charity gala, where I was MC and he was the keynote speaker. This is our third interview and I am still pleasantly shocked - if that’s a term - that I can text Deepak Chopra. My only wish is that he and Ms. Winfrey would’ve married just so she be Oprah Chopra.
