About this Video
"YOU'RE A RECURRING CHARACTER IN WHITE PEOPLE'S LIVES" Aasif Mandvi is one of the pioneers of the South Asian entertainment scene. The man has done it all, from being a correspondent on The Daily Show to appearing alongside Larry David in Curb Your Enthusiasm and Ricky Gervais in Ghost Town. If you’re rich, you know him from Sakina’s Restaurant, the first Off Broadway play written by a South Asian American. If you’re poor, you know him from Spider-Man 2. I met Aasif through our mutual friend, Melanie Chandra, at whose apartment this episode was filmed.
