Abhineet Mishraa is a Shillong-born, Mumbai- and Shillong-based stand-up comedian who has been performing since 2015. He works mostly in Hindi, weaving anecdotal humour with sharp social commentary on the everyday prejudices and underreported stories of Northeast India. Mishraa has used stand-up to spotlight issues such as the Meghalaya mining tragedy and floods in the region, and has spoken about his craft on the TEDx stage. He continues to tour Indian cities and post clips and full sets online, building a niche as one of the comedy circuit's clearest voices for the Northeast.
