Gaurav Purohit is a Bangalore-based stand-up comedian who has been performing on the Indian open-mic circuit since around 2019. He works primarily in Hindi and leans on anecdotal material drawn from his own life, family and the everyday absurdities of life in the city. Though Bangalore is his home base, Purohit travels to perform at independent comedy rooms and curated nights across the country and continues to develop material at city open mics while building out his presence on social media.
