Karthik Kumar is a Chennai-based stand-up comedian, actor and entrepreneur who co-founded Evam, the theatre company that grew into evam Standup Tamasha, one of South India's biggest forces in live comedy. A chemical engineer by training, he quit corporate life with co-founder Sunil Vishnu to build the company, and has since performed more than a thousand shows across India, the US, UK and Southeast Asia. His specials include the 2015 hour PokeME and Blood Chutney on Amazon Prime Video.
