Saikiran Rayaprolu is a Hyderabad-based stand-up comedian widely regarded as one of the city's pioneers on the English-Telugu comedy circuit. A former research consultant, he won a local open-mic contest in 2014 and went full-time, launching his debut solo show Pure Veg Jokes in 2018. His clean, autobiographical sets about middle-class South Indian life, dark-skin teasing and arranged-marriage pressure went viral on WhatsApp and YouTube around 2019, and he has since toured shows like Matrimania across India and the US. He performs primarily in a mix of English and Telugu, with a strictly family-friendly voice.
